Interview with January's member of the month

As you should know by now, the Member of the month is -ButterflyGirl-
Well as promised here is her feature for the blog. This month, i have decided to do an interview, so welcome to her world!

(Kati) :) Well, first i'd like you to introduce yourself :)

(BG) Okay sure (: Hmm where should I start?! Well, my name Is Jess, yay i love my name XD I am a true Aussie chick and I live on the Gold Coast. I am a born again Christian and I love to go to Youth, Church, Cell, etc. I love hanging with mates at the beach or mall, soo much fun! I seriously can't go a day without music, I just cant, I have no idea why. I love chocolate, just like any other girl, hehe. And just like every other Stardollian, I love Stardoll (:

(Kati) You mentioned there that you love music, what types are your favourite and do you play any instruments?

(BG) Yeah haha I love music soooo much! Basically I am into any music, all types I love. Except for the heavy metal stuff, like what the heck? I have heaps of favourite bands, one of which are Switchfoot, woop woop! Yes I do, I play violin, piano and guitar and I'm also in a band called the NRG's. I'm one of the lead singers, which is so much fun!

(Kati) Oh wow. That sounds really cool, so what other hobbies/activities do you do?

(BG) Well when Im older, I'd love to be an actress. When I tell most people that, they're like "You want to be a what?!", because it doesnt seem like an achievable goal. But with me, I am determined to be one. I go to acting classes every week, I've been in heaps of school productions, and been asked to be the lead in a couple of skits at church. So that's what I'd love to do with my life. I also love to sing and Im in an advanced dance class. Also, I admit, Im a bit of a book worm. haha. I just love to read. Im not one of those super geeky people though haha, I just love to read. Um and heaps of other stuff aswell, I just do whatever really haha (:

Broadcasting, i like it, but i dont!

They've changed the way you broadcast, and i have to say.. i aint so keen! Anyway, instead of typing the message, you have to create it out of pre-chosen words.

I like that idea because:- the stardoll staff wont have to check for bad language etc
there is a pretty good selection of words

I dont like it because:- i cant help as much when its voting days for velvet cgs :( [working on it]
i dont like the set out. Bit basic? They could have made a bit more effort!

Anyway, what do you think about it all?

Styling Studio!

WOW! The styling studio is so so so cool! Lol

You get to make a dressup of your own doll, just like the celebrities' ones, and you can save them so other people can play them.
Its just for Superstars though, which is a bit rubbish`and it costs stardollars to do.

VELVETreviews CLOSING.

VELVETreviews is closing. I thought about this for a long time now, and I decided people don't really want to read about films or books, they want to read/watch them instead. It wasn't high on the popularity list - and reviews are always so biased.

So I decided to write for this blog, as I said before, writing is my passion. So currently I run a night club (clubVELVET - an account), and this with proberly more writers coming soon.

Please, if you are a member of my review club, please state your opinions in the hot topic I made about closing recently - or just comment here tbh (: It's always nice to hear your views.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who contributed to the review club, I appreciate it.

Oh Yeah, something else thats interesting

Omg. So Ella just intro'd herself.

You already know's me. Im Kati/Katrina, whatever, and OWNER of VELVET.

Lol, so i thought i'd give a HEEEEE-uge update :)

Ella is 1 of our new writers. Im hoping to intro another new writer soon- its nearly set in stone too, so sorry, but no openings atm. Keeping the person a secret for now tho. We are turning this blog completely around into a new direction. As Ella mentioned shes an aspiring journalist, so thats really cool. She also mentioned our new ideas, like more news instead of Gossip. We want to be role models for you all, so being catty isn't reeeeally us. Instead we will be delivering the hottest news and tips, as well as pointing out all you fashion stars and interviews with some amazing people.

So basically thats it for now. Keep your eyes peeled for the best new topics!

I'm Ella (Living-for-ever on Stardoll), I'm 15 and I co-own VELVET. I want to be a journalist, as writing is my passion. I love listening to music, and reading. My favourite book is the Twilight Saga, along with the already-released movie "Twilight". Robert Pattinson is at the moment my crush, he's a celebrity I know, and star of Twilight. I'm obsessed. I love being with my family and friends - highlights of my day. I'm sad enough to be listening to HSM3 right now. I hate 1 and 2, but actually don't mind number 3! My life isn't perfect, I know that it proberly never will - I'm clumsy and annoying to some, everyone has their flaws. (:
